Adjustable Grooving Cutter
Our most popular carbide insert groover. Uses four reversible carbide knives to cut the groove. In addition, four spurs (two each on top and bottom of the cutter) square the shoulders of the cut to prevent rounding and tear out. Spurs (2+2) have four usable edges, so they can be turned three times before they need to be replaced. The cutter is adjustable by means of spaces (included). Kerf range of 8 to 15 mm can be increased if necessary with the addition of cutter shown below. Steel tool body.

Accessory Cutter

Adjustable Grooving Cutter
Designed for deeper grooving. The cutter head is 220 mm (almost 9 inches) in diameter to allow for a grooving depth of up to 65 mm (2 9/16"). Adjustable by means of spacers (included). This cutter uses four reversible knives and four 4x reversible spurs. Can be used on some table saw machines (call us before ordering to guarantee compatibility.) Aircraft quality aluminum tool body for lighter weight. Speed in RPMs=3500-6000.

Rebating Cutter with Alternate Shear
Similar in function to the cutter head above, but with several important differences. 1583-1 has a larger kerf, outside diameter, and gullet for wider, deeper cuts. It's four knives are slanted for alternate inclined shear cutting action. This knife configuration produces the cleanest possible finish, so it is often used with exotic timber or expensive veneered material. Aircraft quality aluminum alloy tool body for reduced weight.

Glue Joint Cutterheads
This product is a dedicated head for producing flooring and wall paneling, or for cabinet and furniture manufacturing where materials are bonded lengthwise. Can be used to bond different types of natural or manufactured wood to each other. Uses two reversible carbide knives. Variable Angle Cutter
Allows user to make miter cuts of various angles by pivoting the serrated clamping elements. A very versatile tool. Uses standard knives for inexpensive operation. Steel tool body. Specifics vary according to size:
The 120mm version can pivot up to 60 degrees by 5degree increments only and cannot be used with an accessory disc for rebating.
The 150mm version can pivot up to 60 degrees but is adjustable in 1-degree increments. It can also be adjusted in 1/2-degree increments when used in conjunction with optional serrated disc set below (this is useful for making octagonal shapes). In addition, the 150 mm version can be used in combination with an accessory disc for rebating.
The 167mm version can pivot a full 90 degrees and can thus be used for panel raising. It is adjustable in one-degree increments only. The 167 mm version can also be used in combination with disc below for rebating.

Accessory rebate disc
Turns variable angle cutter into a rebating cutter by adding spurs for clean, square shoulder cuts with no tear-out. This accessory fits either above or below. Can only be used in combination with a cutter head of equal outside diameter.

Miter Lock Cutter
Makes 90 degree miter lock joints in material 15-26mm (5/8 inch-1 inch) thick. The first piece is passed through a shaper face down in the usual way. The second piece is shaped standing on end. The resulting mirror image profiles lock together to form the joint. For use with all hard and soft natural wood species as well as engineered wood and other sheet materials. Useful in cabnet production as well as for joint profile moldings, cladding, etc. Aircraft quality aluminum alloy tool body.

Insert Rounding Cutter Set
A versatile three-piece cutter for rounding and jointing of natural wood or sheet materials.
